Look closely (click photo to enlarge). Morning nap? Or still passed out from last night?
8:15am on a Tuesday
Day 100 also happened to be our 6 month anniversary. 100 days ago I started this project with a photo of Dave and I so I threw another one in today.
Dave and I play a game on our phones called Draw Something. His word yesterday just happened to be love.
He’s the best. He came down to Busan after a long day at work. We went to Pasta e Vino (the same restaurant as my bday dinner). They were playing old silent movies on the wall.
We had a great night. I’m really looking forward to the next 6 months.
This weekend was the Sand Festival at Haeundae Beach in Busan. Dave and I stopped by on our way back from Ulsan. There were so many people! We even saw some of my students within minutes of being there.
The festival is a fun experience. The entire beach is lined with really impressive sand sculptures. This festival is in the beginning of June. Details for next year’s festival will be released online closer to the festival date.
Location: Haeundae Beach
Date: Early June
Dave and I had lunch at a new restaurant in Ulsan called O’TACO. It’s really close to Dave’s work. You can actually see Hyundai’s paint shops from the patio.
I had a strawberry margarita and nachos. Dave had a burrito. The food was about average for Korean style Mexican food, but we enjoyed the location. We will definitely be back.

I was so fascinated by these cans of Asahi. They were soooo tiny and adorable. They were only 135ml… about 4.5 ounces (for my American readers).
Monday was our last day in Tokyo. Dave and I were both off work because Korea was celebrating Buddha’s birthday. It was a good trip and we are hoping to go back again before we leave Korea next year.
